LFDCS Holds its 11th Annual High School Fair on Thursday, October 10 Print

Since 2009, Lawrence Family Development Charter School (LFDCS) has sponsored a High School Admissions Fair by inviting to its campus the admissions representatives from primarily admissions-based high schools throughout New England. On Wednesday, October 10, 2019, preceding the High School Admissions Fair, LFDCS hosted for dinner the recruiting High Schools’ Admissions staff members and also included at the dinner a “Welcome Back” for a number of special alumni who attend the fair as returning LFDCS graduates. LFDCS alumni accompany their high school admissions staff to the High School Admissions Fair and are great “cheerleaders” for their high school.

This year thirty-four local, parochial and independent high schools attended the fair and talked with LFDCS seventh and eighth grade students and local community organizations students about the benefits of attending their school.

The following high schools were in attendance at the fair: Berwick Academy*, Abbott Lawrence Academy, Belmont Hill School, Berkshire School, Bishop Fenwick High School, Bradford Christian Academy, Brooks School, Cambridge School Weston, Central Catholic High School, Choate Rosemary Hall, Clark School*, Concord Academy, Cushing Academy, Deerfield Academy, Greater Lawrence Vocational School, Groton School, Holderness School, Hotchkiss School, Lawrence Academy, Marianapolis Preparatory School*, Middlesex School*, Milton Academy, Miss Hall’s School, Noble & Greenough, Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School, Phillips Academy Andover, Phillips Exeter Academy, Pingree School, Proctor Academy, St. John’s Preparatory School, Tabor Academy, Walnut Hill School for Arts*, Waring School*, White Mountain School.
